And the thing is if you read the obits over the past few months, there are a lot of other athletes in sports that we in the USA do not follow that are now "suddenly dying" at seemingly high(er) rates.
World champs, young coaches and former players, current players of that sport, etc.
We just aren't aware of these deaths because the sport isn't baseball, basketball, or football.
