I was there on Sunday. It was obvious to anyone who dared to ask questions that Fauci was a fraud and Trump should have fired him. At a minimum Trump should have quit inviting him to the meetings and press conferences, but he did not.

In one aspect Fauci was believed to be a public servant looking out for the health of Americans, when that turned out not to be true he should have been fired.

He was making commissions on Moderna.
He was rejecting methods that he had previously championed such as hydroxy chloroquine, and natural immunity all to sell vaccines.
He lied about transmissibilty to sell vaccines.
He lied about the origins of the disease and claimed he didn’t know the authors of a paper that said the virus came from animals, when in fact he got the authors to write it.
He lied to protect the Chinese, and himself when they destroyed tons of Wuhan data, and they stonewalled any international inquiry, which would have shown it was created in the lab
He denied it was Gain of Function.
He attacked doctors personally through underhanded means in the media, who rejected the lock downs.
He used US dollars to create the disease and then denied it.
He lied about the dangers of Covid for young people.

Trump let him have free rein, and after a few months should have fired him for these conflicts.

But Trump owned the vaccines and he had taken 1 million dollars from Pfizer. He still pushes the vaccines to this day, and they have far too many adverse side effects.

On this play Trump dropped the ball. It was a time of great confusion but in a few months the deceptive and money grabbing talents of Fauci were obvious enough to do something.

The BIG mistake Trump made IMHO was in deferring to Fauci, Birx, et al on the “virus”. They should have been two of MANY with input on the subject and there were many on the other (correct) side who called BS on the masking, vaccines, etc. Associated with this was the printing of money, which was/is a significant contributor to the devaluation of the currency we see.

He watched as they locked us in our rooms, put covers over our faces and made us eat poison. Then the stranger stole the deed to the house and forged themself in as the owner. They had papa evicted.

He didn’t call the cops. He didn’t call the national guard. He didn’t call the military. His lawyer friends promised to do something about the stranger, but he made sure everyone stayed peaceful.

This may be the case, but you and most folks werent aware of it, if were being honest and his reputation was one of the utmost expertise by many people in his field. He was no hero to Trump, like he was to Bush. At the end of the day Trump spent everyday defending himself against the constant criticism he hoisted on Fauci and his team. As it turns out alot Trumps critiques were correct because as he pointed out he listened to other points of view, not just Fauci. Trumps WH advisers were out there questioning media COVID narrative all the time. Acting like these two were peas in a pod is hilarious. Sadly it took this long to see the truth about what happened...investigations will be focused on Fauci and his echo chamber going forward , not Trumps supposed mishandling of the early stages of the virus.

What is the absolute best DS outcome for 2024?

They want the R populist to win the primary and lose the general. With probably unneeded visible cheating same as Dems always do.

They want that as a Suppression Election, analogous to suppression polls except more strategic and long lasting in it Freedom-killing effect.

Trump is infinitely beatable in the general. His believers have promised to curl up and stop fighting for Freedom if their idol fails again.

If that segment sits out a cycle or two, then we get president Hair Gel, speaker AOC, Sec of State Schiff, Warren over Treasury, Bragg as AG... and they will continue Trump's work filling the swamps of DC.

No other president has shut down America - and both bragged and lied about.
