Created in 1948 by the animation team of Jay Ward and Alex Anderson, Dudley Do-Right made his first official appearance on "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show" in 1961. The character of Dudley Do-Right was a well-intentioned but often incompetent Canadian Mountie whose character was inspired by old silent films and the stereotypical characters they portrayed.

Well I guess Dudley Do-Right, was one of the first victims of cancel culture for making fun of Smokey the Bear.
Man those cartoons were funny.

I loved the “The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show”. It was the best of all the Saturday morning cartoon shows. The writing was super witty, sarcastic and hilarious.

One of my favorite comedy shows, Danger 5, had Dario Russo create some songs just for them. One season the cast was in the 1980s and they needed songs that sounded like 1980s songs. Here it is, Face Your Fears, Face Russia
It wasnt made to be serious, btw, its a comedy show, and it totally has everything in it an 80s song would have

First RCMP I ever met, had pulled me over for speeding.
I was on Highway 1 doing what I thought was the speed limit as I went through a town. No signs so I didn’t know you were supposed to slow down in towns. He explained it to me.
He then asked where Mississippi was? I was stationed at Minot ND and still had Mississippi plates.
Just got a warning.
I’m glad I didn’t a typical city cop.
I was 20 over the limit.

I watched the Rocky & Bullwinkle shows as a kid and the episodes had a good impact on me.
I gained an appreciation for satire, and laughed at all the kid things.
Later as an adult, I laughed at all the adult elements.
The voice characterizations were outstanding. June Foray (who did all of the female voices and also Rocky) and Paul Frees did most of the heavy lifting. All were great.
