Hollywood, specifically the film industry, is going through a legitimate, serious, and potentially fatal phase.
No one likes the movies anymore.
The key to a healthy industry—audience goodwill—is evaporating quickly.

I’m sure at some some point theylll need more and get it as the people of Georgia have no say in it.
Anyone Georgia folks know the results of the question on the primary ballot concerning the film credit? I don’t. Only folks I know that would have voted yes on it would be the liberals in Atlanta and elsewhere.
I damned sure don’t know anyone that wants them here.
Good!
Couldn’t happen to a more EVIL group of devil worshipers.
(With VERY few exceptions.)
Pretty soon they can just make movies with AI, and you won’t know the difference.
The closer you look at Hollywood, the more evil it becomes. The wokeness is just symptomatic, a nice-seeming mask to show the world.
I quit going to movie theaters many years ago. I need to be the one who gets paid big bucks to watch these leftist, narcissists play pretend.
I’m going to make a new TV series called “The Woking dead”.....
The last flick I saw in the theaters was 007 Skyfall. That was over 10 years ago. Even the James Bond franchise can be - and was - so ruined that I didn’t even bother watching the last one - for the first time ever.
I refuse to watch comic book movies and I refuse to watch animated movies. The only other thing offered is endless sequels.
There is NO creativity anymore. These people have forgotten how to simply tell a good story. That’s all I want. They’re so lazy and talentless, they can’t even manage that.
Yeah, I don’t like many movies of today .. that is why we watch and re-watch the movies/series prior to 2012.

After “Deliverance” (Burt Reynolds movie) was made here, showcasing the beauty of N. GA mountains/rivers, Hollywood came and never left. Never bothered me, except bringing in many more Dem voters. Living far away from Atlanta metro helps.
Hollywood went full retard. If Tropic Thunder taught anything is that you never go full retard.
There once was a Hollywood maxim “You want a sermon, go to church.” But they just couldn’t resist the temptation.
The last three movies we saw in a theater were “1917,” “Dunkirk,” “They Shall Not Grow Old,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “The Hurt Locker.”
There seems to be a pattern to our movie-going.
I just watched “Deliverance” again last night.
Fortunately it is easy to locate and watch older movies. Also it is far easier now to make and distribute movies outside of hollywood, e.g. https://canticle-productions.com
Perhaps the movie business needs to reinvent themselves?
It seems there’s a distinction between movies seen in theaters, versus movies scene on cable TV or streaming services.
The target audience to see movies in theaters tends to be younger people. A lot of older folks nowadays won’t even go to a movie theater. If there’s a movie they really want to see , they just wait for it to come on cable TV or a streaming service.
Then the question becomes, are they trying to make most revenue from the theaters, or from home video.
And then , overlaying all of that ,is why do they feel the need to push liberal social and political agendas into the story lines.

Hopefully Fatally!
They can’t tell stories unless they have an underlying message from a limited number of possibilities. They have include one or more gay couples and have women as the protagonist. The woman is always going to be able to kick ass without any training or experience. The villain is either motorcycle gangsters or Russian mobsters. There can be no negative depictions of people of color or middle eastern religions. They haven’t figured out how to do violence without featuring firearms but they are working on it.
I liked Where the Crawdads Sing. I had read the book and liked it.
All Quiet on the Western Front could not even compare with the magnificent 1930 version.
Most of what they crank out today is trash.
My family and I watch movies together, on TV, from time to time. I have made it known that anything with foul language or any kind of vulgarity will be switched off immediately. This has meant that most of the trash cranked out today is off limits. There are plenty of old movies to watch. We have never been at a loss and have seen some terrific ones.
