A New York man who was sentenced to life in prison as a teenager for the murders of his family members has been granted parole.
Brian Britton, who is now 50, injured his sister and killed his mom, dad and brother on March 22, 1989, at the family's Poughkeepsie home
A Change.org petition by Britton's sister, who survived the killings, to then Gov. Andrew Cuomo clearly stated that she wanted him to remain in jail.
The petition in part said:
"I fear for my life and that of my children if he were to be released. The only reason he admitted to the crimes was that he found out that I was alive. His intent on that fateful morning was to kill his entire family, but I survived.
"He has never shown remorse. He has never given a reason as to why he did what he did. He has never reached out to me (since he has been in prison) to try to reestablish ties. All these are things that need to be done before someone can even think of being released."

It certainly looks that way.
I read the entire article, and I still don’t understand why he’s being released. Sometimes, it appears that certain judges almost want a crime or a murder to happen, especially when the liklihood is very high. I can’t explain it, but that is the appearance, and not just with this judge.
It seems that such judges ‘willingly’ set the stage for a still frightened victim to be hunted and tortured to death.
Let by-gones be by-gones...
She needs a GiveSendGo account for 24/7 security guards with AR-15s or similar rifles plus sidearms. I would donate.
Too bad Ronald DeFeo Jr. died a few years ago. They could have left him out, too.
Look at it this way: this poor bloke lost most of his family - that’s tragic, he could surely use a break....
And if he attacks his sister and she kills him in self defense, she will go to prison for murder.
New York releasing a homicidal lunatic. What could go wrong?
His sister needs to get armed.
This is done to sow chaos and fear among the people, to destroy the true concept of Justice so the Elites can create their own justice. The Devil always plays the Queen of Spades.
Well, the fellow is an orphan.
I guess they let him out because he identified as a woman. Women only get 1/3 the time for doing the exact same crimes as men.
You go girl!
“A man who murdered most of his family is being let out on parole so he can kill his sister, who was the only survivor.”
The MAIN REASON for supporting the Death Penalty, in my opinion, as that there is no such thing as ‘Life in Prison’, only the hope of such, maybe. And if a state goes blue, or is blue, that hope is FUTILE.
I’ll take the sister murder under 90 days...

No, let the judge and all involved letting this vermin out pay for her 24/7 security

Yep- and judges that routinely do that should be sued and disbarred-
The Louisiana parole board says, “Hold my beer.” They let out child rapists, murders, truly the worst of the worst. Their main criteria seems to be the completion of their pet programs.
A YouTuber has a successful channel that rebroadcasts their hearings with his own commentary. The parole board tried to take the YouTuber down with bogus copyright strikes against the videos. The rationale was that they were attempting to protect the victim’s privacy. (Cough, BS. cough)
This demon killed three and now he is getting out. His out should have been the death penalty years ago. America is too chickenshit, gutless liberal to terminate proven without a doubt killers. And this includes mothers who kill their children.
I am not talking about when there are doubts about self defense etc. Or barroom fight that turn lethal.
She needs to carry and go to the gun range every day. Get training. The police 95% of the time, only pick up the pieces.
For a small fee, one could employ a certain type of vet.
