Impossible Foods issued a voluntary recall last week after learning small pieces of wood were discovered in the packaging of two products: Impossible Chicken Nuggets (13.5 oz) and Impossible Wild Nuggets (13.5 oz).
There is a potential risk of choking or injury to the mouth or gastrointestinal tract.
Customers who have previously purchased the nuggets in question are advised to check the back of the bag and look for a product code, located above the bar code.
Customers can then check that product code among the hundreds provided by Impossible Foods.

Methylcellulose is a man made product and not naturally found. It’s essentially methylated cellulose, or wood.
Impossible
I tried a couple of Impossible foods and thought they tasted like something Daisy Cat left in her box. Truly barf worthy. My really lovely neighbor at our senior complex, Kathryn, is a vegan and eats that stuff.
Kathryn is absolutely beautiful, likes to. walk 5 miles a day, even when it’s snowing because “it’s fun.” When she came over for coffee, she brought her own herb tea bag.
I cannot fault her on a single thing. Plus my cat likes her, which is rare. So I’ll warn her about the recall.

I am told by people in retail that NO ONE is buying the products.
Eventually they’ll just start selling it as real meat, and hope nobody notices.
