Dick Van Dyke has smashed his car into a gate in Malibu after his Lexus skidded in the rain. The accident occurred on Wednesday morning in Malibu and police officers arrived at the scene to find Dick behind the wheel of his Lexus LS 500, reports TMZ.
The Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang star told the cops his car had skidded in the rain and he lost control of the steering before the Lexus smashed into the gate.
The crash came nearly ten years after Dick was involved in another car crash which saw him rescued from his burning Jaguar in Los Angeles.

I don’t believe this news article, nor most of what today passes as “news”. And, certainly not the daily mail.
As to why news such as this would be put out, with it being about an already-dead guy, I could only speculate.
My Dad gave up driving at 92. We just lost him a couple months short of 95 on Feb. 17th.
78 here and almost caused a VERY BAD wreck yesterday afternoon while entering a four-lane. Really has me wondering what I’m going to do if I give up driving. I’ve got excuses for why it happened, but the fact is it was MY fault. Thank God the other fellow was paying attention and had good reflexes and skills!

My husband turns 85 this year and has stopped driving in traffic but does drive on country roads in the neighborhood. He let me put a nice GPS tracker on his truck so that if he has trouble, I can find him. If he needs to go to town or to a large city, I drive.
Article said he was giving away $5 bills to
the homeless. Here, buy a nip bottle as I go back to my Lexus or Jaguar and wish for my
fellow citizens to live in poverty under socialism. No need to work hard, government
will take care of you.
