It is just a nice sentimental gesture. But it is wholly anathema for a Christian. Firstly, we are not to communicate with the dead. Second, Christians who die are not in graveyards, just their earthly vessels are in those graves. Third, graveyards are not heaven. Heaven is a real place. Those dead in Christ are there, seated with Christ in the heavenlies. Much better those of us who remain should draw close to God and receive solace and comfort from Him and His Word.
