We had 30°F this morning!.....................We need to shoot the Groundhog!...................
Extremely cold beginning of spring here in North Carolina.
Yep.....37 over here with the wind chill.......good news is it slows down the grass so I don’t have to mow as often 😁
The little rodent bastard needs shootin’ anyway.
We really did end up with six more weeks of winter.
I got to spend 4 hours in the car yesterday, celebrating ‘Spring.’ Mom had Sis and I drive her North to visit some shirt-tail relatives before they’re gone. We had a good time, but I would’ve much rather been outside.
I broke the ‘First Cardinal Rule of Visiting Old Folks,’ though; I wore a heavy sweatshirt and ROASTED all day in their 80 degree apartment. Ugh!
That said, I have Lettuces and Spinach up in the greenhouse - soon to have Kale, too.
Peppers and tomatoes have germinated in the grow light rack, inside. Things are on track! Cannot WAIT to dig in the DIRT! :)
