The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
Have fun with today’s cryptogram and have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY.
After nearly 17 years of work, the author of this quote successfully launched his creation on March 16, 1926.
Rocket Man!
WOW, that was fast! Sort of makes you a rocket man too.😀
I recommend Ceylon Black Tea.
Always loved the music on that album…… remembering something about “living hand-in-hand and together we’ll stand on the threshold of a dream”
I launched into this one and powered through it in a flash of inspiration. I haven’t done one in a while, so it felt good to dig into today’s cryptogram. Thanks.

Epic correction, published July 17, 1969, the day after the launch of Apollo 11:
A Correction: On Jan. 13, 1920, “Topics of the Times,” an editorial-page feature of The New York Times, dismissed the notion that a rocket could function in a vacuum and commented on the ideas of EDXQEY B. LDTTJET, the rocket pioneer, as follows:
‘That Professor LDTTJET with his ‘chair’ in Clark College and the countenancing of the Smithsonian Institution, does not know the relation of action to reaction, and of the need to something better than a vacuum against which to react—to say that would be absurd. Of course he only seems to lack the knowledge ladled out daily in high schools.”
Further investigation and experimentation have confirmed the findings of Isaac Newton in the 17th Century and it is now definitely established a rocket can function in a vacuum as well as in an atmosphere. The Times regrets the error.
Is this the text for Brandon’s latest speech, in the clear?
I like “The Voice” (Moody Blues.)
Trump had a thing or two to say about the author...
This progressive outlook seems to ignore the laws of unintended consequences.
I used to work in the LDTTJET Building, named for today’s author, which was right next to the Spencer Building, the latter named for the inventor of the microwave oven. The LDTTJET Building that that photograph in the lobby. The latter building had a 1948 model Radarange™ in the lobby.
