I thoroughly enjoyed Brendan Fraser in The Whale. A well deserved Academy Award for a genuinely good guy.
Of course, I did not watch the ceremony, as I have zero interest in listening to Jimmy Kimmel spew liberal bullshit every time he opened his pie-hole.

He was actually quite tame yesterday, keeping politics to a minimum. He even added a subtle dig at Joe and Hunter Biden.
Even his jokes about last year’s “SLAP” by Will Smith was quite funny and tasteful.
Over all, I think yesterday’s show, although quite long and should have been cut by about half an hour, is a slow return to the traditional Oscars people use to watch about 30 years ago.
I haven’t seen the movie and probably won’t watch it. However, I am glad he won. He has a pretty sad story about his career. The same people who are lauding him are the same ones who allowed him to be blacklisted.
I saw where the guy responsible for the movie knew he wanted fraser after seeing a trailer for one of his movies
I have always liked Brendan, but I couldn’t get past the first five minutes of The Whale.
