“Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs” is, to me, the best rock album ever. Five great musicians got together to record this classic. A song that didn’t get the airtime that “Layla” did is “Anyday,” a classic in its own right. Bobby Whitlock nailed the vocals.

If one ever fell in love with a woman and never had it returned, this song would resonate. This song always takes me back to 1970s high school and a girl from my biology class.
