Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell was being treated at a local hospital after he fell at a hotel Wednesday evening, according to a spokesman.
The 81-year-old senator from Kentucky fell after he tripped at a hotel in Washington, D.C., his spokesman said.

He is probably just fine. Schumer ordered him out of the Senate building so the vote balance (Dems + 2) is restored. When Uncle Fester or whats-her-face from CA return, McConnell will make a speedy recovery.

dinner in Washington when he tripped. He was admitted
to a hospital for treatment, spokesman Doug Andres said.
Has his wife Chow Chow fled the country yet? We will know how serious this is if she bails. That is the most recent standard.
An interesting thing about being 80 is the frequent interaction with the medical community.
Every visit with every medical person is greeted with the question “What’s your date of birth”. A second frequent question is “have you had any recent falls”
It's not the fall that gets you when you're 80, it's the landing.

And it will be taken away from them. Power in oneself is an illusion. Nothing is as it appears. McConnell will be gone when it is his time to do so, and God’s will be done. With all of McConnell’s perceived power, he will not be able to stop it.

Be careful on hoping it is fatal. Kentucky has a Dem governor. If the Turtle kicks it then the Dems get another Senate seat.
