Michelle Yeoh may have violated the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' "References to Other Nominees" rule after posting Vogue article about fellow Best Actress nominee and two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett.
SNIP
"Detractors would say that Blanchett’s is the stronger performance — the acting veteran is, indisputably, incredible as the prolific conductor Lydia Tár — but it should be noted that she already has two Oscars,” read the article.
“Meanwhile, for Yeoh, an Oscar would be life-changing: Her name would forever be preceded by the phrase ‘Academy Award winner,’ and it should result in her getting meatier parts, after a decade of being criminally underused in Hollywood,” continued the piece.

Who cares what Hollyweird thinks? Michelle Yeoh starred in the Heroic Trio and Wing Chun. Flawless victory!

Frankly no one cares anymore. The oscars are like the Emmys— meaningless.
But saying someone has too many is childish to say the very least.

I thought that movie was terrible too. I’ve never seen a more unattractive group of Asians. The plot was completely confusing and it all seemed quite pointless. Yes, Jamie Lee Curtis was good, the cast was actually all pretty good in their parts. The husband had such a terrible voice, I’m amazed he can work as an actor at all.
Give this one a pass, watch Spiderman into the Spiderverse instead. That’s another “multiple dimensions” plot, but they actually put it across in a non-confusing manner, for which I admire them greatly. It’s an excellent movie IMHO.
