“Boney Beagle” ?
My Grandfather was a Marine in WWII. He was stationed in China, and after the GI’s arrived all the dogs disappeared, but the GI’s were eating steak. My Grandfather figured he was eating dog.
This is satire or completely fake news. I vote for the latter. There are two versions of the same story, one in NYC and one SF. There is no “White Lotus Royal Buffet“ in San Francisco or NYC, according to Yelp.

Are they pet-friendly?
So they were just a dog wokking service?
A health department inspection at a local Chinese restaurant found the plucked and dressed corpses of seagulls. They were closed for awhile. The defintion of edible protein seems to vary by culture.

Lol....
I shouldn’t even be asking, but I wonder which are the most popular breeds of dogs for human consumption?
Americans are not supposed to be asking such questions.
Unfortunately, the typical Pit Bull would probably have too much muscle, and produce a rather tough meat.
Their bones would likely produce a nutritious broth, and a lot of tallow; nature’s version of Crisco shortning.
Tallow has been used as skin balm for generations.
Forget it Jake, it’s Chinatown
My favorite chinese restaurant in Gainesville Ga was busted a few years after I moved away. The new food inspector found 22 frozen cats in the freezer. The owner swore he only served them to special customers upon request. The place was closed down immediately, and I couldn’t eat Chinese for about two years after reading about it.
Yes, that one has the same. It’d amazing they just picked up their restaurant and moved it to SF. But I am glad the NY Humane Society was relentless and tracked them down.
The Wuhan Institute started it.
How about Chow Chow Mein?
Like rice-a-roni, the San Francisco treat.
Hey, at least they don’t use MSG.
No restaurant can be purrfect.
why I don’t eat Chinese food.
Glad I don’t go there any more. -— But ——— in times past?????
One of the few cities on earth where dogs have to worry about stepping in human feces.
