“It was very friendly with her,” game warden Joann Garza said. She told game wardens she had been caring for it for more than two decades.
She told investigators she was volunteering at the Animal World & Snake Farm zoo in New Braunfels, Texas, and stole an alligator egg.
Charges for stealing the egg are past the statute of limitations, but she can always visit the alligator here at Animal World & Snake Farm.

Austin police department is short 500 officers and they take her only security! Never had any problems in all the years with the gator on patrol.

Wild animals don’t need to be “cared for” and should not be. They should not be kept as “pets.”
There is a lot of insanity going around. Having an alligator or an ape as a “pet” is insane, even if you name it “Elliot” or “Irving.”

Must be the future alligator snack on the right in the background. Cuckoo, cuckoo!

Lets not be too hasty or judgemental now, Perhaps the pet alligator self identifies as a purse or a pair of boots?

Sounds like one of those mush heads who’d take in a baby T-Rex if they were still around.

On 2nd thought, she must not be Cajun, the alligator would soon have been in a pot of Gumbo.

Next you will be telling those in Sweetwater (Texas y’all) that they can no longer raise rattlesnakes in their backyards to show off every year at their Rattlesnake Roundup.
*The Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup is next weekend.

A lot of people have “Want to be eaten by a wild animal.” at the top of their bucket list these days.

I brought up the name of Timothy Treadwell in a discussion the other day. He would be *perfect* for this job:

Oh, wait . . .

I’m just worried about the guy who laid the pool and put up the fences in her backyard: “Don’t mind little Elliot, there, he’s a sweetie.”

Leave her alone! Let her keep the alligator and in a few months time it will be 8.5 feet long and she will be nowhere to be found.
