Buddy of mine bought a table for the Lincoln Reagan Dinner at the George R. Brown convention center. I almost blew it off as I'm so sick of FNC giving RD airtime and banning DJT, but decided to do a little due diligence.
He spoke for 30 minutes without a teleprompter. Good delivery, lots of red meat, pretty fired up. Crowd of 800 or so pretty laid back. Lots of pretty GOP women I have to say.
Not a single mention of Ukraine, which I see as the defining difference between RD and DJT. Ron's going to fall in line with Mitch and lose to PDJT in spectacular fashion in the primaries. But he'll end up as Trump's VP.
Just my humble opinion.
There isn't a posting on this site that you can't dig deep enough to find something that buttresses your Trump hate. If it isn't there in plain site you will invent something. Your hate is consuming you. It's a joy to watch eGOP heads popping. Trump or bust.
DeSantis has no reason to take a position on foreign policy at this point.
Most candidates wait and then make a special foreign policy speech later.
DeSantis has not officially announced and can play this out.

Yeah I know some things have to happen for a Trump/RD ticket to materialize. Trump could easily change his residence back to NY if he wanted to.
Speaking of RD, he still has to get the FL legislature to change the law requiring him to step down as Gov if he jumps into the ring - and that would come at a great political cost to him I believe.

Agreed. But I have a sneaking suspicion that he will end up on the pro-war side. He can delay, but he will side with McConnell. War is good.

Let's add one more thing: most of us alpha males with decades of life experience working with mentally stable and capable men in extremely challenging environments understand that being gay is sometimes the result of genetic irregularities - that they are born with a handicap and being gay does not impact the quality of their work.
