This may sound like a dumb question to you but...I have high speed internet. What is the difference, if any, between that and broadband?

Nothing. High Speed would s broadband.

You can pick up a 55 to 60 smart TV at Wal-Mart for.less than $500. You log it into you internet like a computer. You can also plug a computer into it as a huge m monitor.

Roku lets you search by topic, actor, title, or key words like “Free Streaming”

For entertainment try Plito, FreeTeeVee, Tubi, Filmrise and the Roku channel. Plus Rumble, and Youtube.

You can all so access pay services like Netfix, Apple TV, Hulu if you subscribe. You can also access major sports via their own streaming services.

There no need for cable, period.
