* Against all opposition President Trump begins construction of a border wall * President Trump withdraws from the Paris Accords climatism false religion * President Trump moves our Israel embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem * President Trump hobbles the EPA and other regulatory agencies * Under President Trump’s leadership and pro-energy policies the US becomes completely energy independent and a net exporter of oil and gas * Under President Trump’s economic leadership, employment rises for ALL demographics * President Trump forces (shames!) NATO into carrying more of the load for its defense * President Trump passes solid, economically fair AND economically beneficial tax cuts for Americans

All those things were great. But what was made permanent the way the left makes their agenda permanent?

Trump did shift the Supreme Court. Great.

Israeli embassy move. Permanent.

Everything else was temporary and changed the moment Trump left office.

Trump ran on a wall. Yes, he got opposition, but he never finished the job even though he had a way to do it.

Trump ran on tax cuts. He got temporary cuts.

So, most of Trump's "accomplishments" were temporary can-kicking rather than permanent fixes.

Had he finished the wall, we would not have over 5 million more trespassers living among us.

Trump signed the largest spending bill ever enacted as covid relief. That bill contributed just as much to inflation as Biden's spending.

I’m not rewriting anything. Trump never “got wise” like Heavy D did. Desantis was one of the first to realize and admit his error.

“Who did DeSantis hang out with when he was in Congress?”

Maybe Paul Ryan? An old video was released a day or two ago with Ron saying he wanted to be just like Paul Ryan.

The above link says Trump initiated this in 2017.

“Maybe Oprah could share her thoughts.”

Better yet, have a seance and channel Maya Angelou. SHE’s profound, and a deep thinker.

I believe they are in the process of changing that.

It’s a stupid law...Of course it should be changed. Should never have been there in the first place.

MSM, the MIC, the DNC and RINOs who hate Trump. Pretty simple.

“He’s running on it like Bush did: ‘I’ve done this in Texas/Florida, etc’.”

And how did that Bush thing work out for us? Not well. I hope people don’t fall for that “I’ve got experience” thing. Trump had none, and our country was the best it’s been in many decades when he was President.

The day Bush had Reagan's microphone turned off, showed me what kind of person GHWB was and what kind of person Reagan was. Bush was not worthy of any higher office after that stunt.

Bush did not do that. The pro-Bush moderator did it and, as a result, handed the primary to Reagan because Reagan came out as a fighter and the nation was looking for a fighter.

Reagan wanted Ford as his VP, but could not come to terms with the power Ford wanted. Reagan knew he needed to bring the GOP together and settled on Bush.

Reagan united and took over the GOP, bringing conservatism to the mainstream.

Trump did the same and took over the GOP, bringing populism, anti-war, pro-border security to the mainstream of the GOP.

Just remember, that a Bush endorsed Trump for POTUS in 2020.

I think you’re nailing it.

Jeb Bush, Fox Board i.e. Paul Ryan et al, Rove, Romney are just a few, but he’s got several people on this forum, (as you’ll probably hear from in 3...2...1...).

Trump has more than paid his dues. They say De Santis is “Trump without the baggage.” What baggage? The only baggage Trump has is what the media and the GOP elites have thrown on him, none of which is true.

De Santis, on the other hand, is acting like a weasel. IF you’re going to be in, then be in. Don’t give us this crap that you’ve got a big legislative session first etc etc.

I think if he runs, and I think he will because the people behind him will convince him that there’s NO DOWNSIDE, he’s going to look like an ass.

Let me ask the group. If Ron De Santis and Trump were having a rally in your town which one would you go to?

I think he’s going to be in for a shock. He might have the anti Trumpers, and the McConnell types, but he will never have the love and support the people give for Trump.

The whole country, left and right, know the election was stolen from Trump. Instead of running against him, DE Santis would be smart to say, “I’ve decided not to run this time around.” And behind the scenes tell Trump he’s all in to help him win.

Will he do that? Probably not.

My hope (although doubtful) is that this is all theater and that Trump will pick DeSantis as his VP. They’d be unstoppable.

I’m inclined to agree with you. Actually, I think all your points are good.
We’ll see what happens…

Soros did say he preferred DeSantis, but quickly reversed.

The fake news media did the same this past December, first cheerleading that DeSantis was overtaking Trump, then radio silence with one last quip that DeSantis would resist damaging Trump until sometime “later”, and now we start to see it come out.

Soros controlled PR quickly dominated media channels saying his ‘endorsement’ of DeSantis was a lie. That’s what you picked up and are repeating here.

Trump had none, and our country was the best it’s been in many decades when he was President.

Except for that whole CIA attempt at a color revolution called BLM/antifa. But that wasn't Trump's fault. Just his headache - and ours - to deal with.

“I still haven’t gotten over the fact that Trump fast tracked that death shot. I don’t know if I ever will. At least apologize for it. Damn Man!”

That’s true. He needs to clear the air on that one. I heard it mentioned a time or two in CPAC interviews yesterday.

I know he was purposely given bad info from the Fauci-Pfizer Show, and that’s something he can fall back on and people would understand. And he NEVER mandated it; people forget that.

“Desantis ... would bring his own team from Florida”

Bush brought his own team — Cheney, Rove, et al. Terrible.
