Soros did say he preferred DeSantis, but quickly reversed.
The fake news media did the same this past December, first cheerleading that DeSantis was overtaking Trump, then radio silence with one last quip that DeSantis would resist damaging Trump until sometime “later”, and now we start to see it come out.
Soros controlled PR quickly dominated media channels saying his ‘endorsement’ of DeSantis was a lie. That’s what you picked up and are repeating here.

I have previously read about what was actually said, and nowhere did Soros say that he preferred DeSantis or that he supported him. He gave DeSantis a back-handed compliment, insulted Trump and then said that if DeSantis were chosen as the GOP candidate, then Trump might run as a third-party candidate which would give the Democrats a landslide.
