If only he'd waited until 2028 he would have been a shoo-in.

I’m a little worried with the Bush/Rove “support”. Whether it’s concrete or not and if - as one Freeper said - he blows kisses back time will tell. Does this not trouble you, too?

The Bush's got behind Reagan and served in his administration. Did that dilute Reagan's conservatism?

Nope....hence, it does not concern me.

RINOs are behind DeSantis. He may not be one for now but they are taking the “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” route and leaching on to DeSantis, hoping to change him or make him owe them. They know they don’t have a chance with any of their own and they can’t buy Trump. DeSantis will need to be watched carefully. Trump needs to get back in and stamp out the RINOs, Bushes and Cheneys once and for all. DeSantis won’t do that.

RINOs always get behind the rising star as they want spots in their administration. RINOs (and the Bush's got behind Reagan)

This pipedream of "stamping out RINOs" is a childish notion, just as it was about Trump "draining the swamp".

Trump hired and has endorsed many RINOs since 2016. One could say he has not learned his lesson or he is actually supporting the RINOs just as easily.

With DeSantis, you get a clear conservative who has taken on the culture war and implemented the most conservative agenda in Florida's history (and most states). He doesn't talk, he acts.

Trump LIED about good conservative candidates in the 2022 primaries to install leftists as our GOP candidates and, as a result, blew our biggest chance to take control of Congress in 30 years. We ended up losing a senate seat and barely took control of the House.

It should have been a red tsunami, but Trump and his hand-picked team that led the GOP blew it.

Tell me why I should vote for a 6-time loser like Trump again??

Nobody owes DeSantis a thing but Trump deserves to have justice. We shouldn't forget how embattled, however effective, he and his administration were. MAGA!

I’m guessing the Bushes see him as the lesser of two evils in their minds and it could be his military service and he’s a politician..a good one by any means and Florida loves him.

Because, or so it appears, that your definition of the word “loser” tends to liberate it from its traditional meaning. To portray Trump as a “6-time loser” is a foray into ridiculous exaggeration. It’s what liberals do.

After many years of watching this charade I have come to the conclusion that they are all in on it but just play different roles. It doesn't matter who gets in where or how because the deck is stacked against us.....

Bears repeating!

>> Conservatives trust actions

You bet we do.

* Against all opposition President Trump begins construction of a border wall
* President Trump withdraws from the Paris Accords climatism false religion
* President Trump moves our Israel embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem
* President Trump hobbles the EPA and other regulatory agencies
* Under President Trump’s leadership and pro-energy policies the US becomes completely energy independent and a net exporter of oil and gas
* Under President Trump’s economic leadership, employment rises for ALL demographics
* President Trump forces (shames!) NATO into carrying more of the load for its defense
* President Trump passes solid, economically fair AND economically beneficial tax cuts for Americans

... That’s just stream of consciousness for a few minutes and I could go on and on. I forgot to mention wacking China’s pee pee too. But you get the picture, unless you’re willfully blind.

Ummm…after he got wise. However I remember sitting in my car getting the shot , actually a first and second under his governorship. It was encouraged . We were shut down along with the other states. Our grocery stores had one way lanes, our stores were closed and so we’re the schools.
Then when spring (tourist) season came there was a risk of us losing our revenue from the closures. That’s what drove the decision to open it up. The beaches were the first to open. I believe it was a gamble that happened to be a good one. Let’s not rewrite history. It wasn’t that long ago.

Ron DeSantis is up against one very hard fact in Florida. The “Resign to run” law REQUIRES he resign from the office of Governor before he can legally announce for ANY other office, and frankly, Florida still needs his hand on the wheel.

The Florida legislature COULD change that law, of course, with a near supermajority in both houses, but is that a wise idea? The current term of Governor ends in January 2027, and DeSantis is termed out anyway at that time, but still plenty of time to get into the 2028 primary season. Sitting on this wave until then is the single most important reason that Ron DeSantis should not be wasting his opportunities for the very short-term “benefit” of denying Trump a third run for office in 2024.

That personal finance course appears to be similar to that which our forefathers were engaged in. I see no problems with it.

Never-Trumper billionaires Paul Singer and Ken Griffin are two backers behind DeSantis. There is Marc Short as intermediary for the Koch Brothers organization, and many others.

DeSantis is also networking with Dominion Voting Systems attorneys. And there are now confirmed receipts that Florida was left untouched by election rigging (whereas all other states reveal tampering to various extents). In 2022, Democrat stronghold Miami-Dade went overwhelming for DeSantis because massive Democrat votes went missing. Ergo special treatment, a special pass was handed out.

Further, nothing’s been done regarding Disney except soundbites. This is very, very suspiciously similar to Karl Rove tactics.

Ok, is DeSantis a willing participant?

I don’t think so. I can tell by the way he talks he’s reading a script. He’s a script reader. Many elected and unelected officials do that, but it points to the fact DeSantis is not his own man.

Further. DeSantis is said to have skeletons in his past. This can imply he’s controlled. He can’t refuse to run. He’s damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. At times, he appears reluctant, at other time he appears to read something out of the blue that indicates he’s running. It’s as if something is prodding him to walk on the primary stage.

We understand the Bush family have tentacles in Florida and know what scriptwriters must produce to get Floridians supporting a candidate for office. DeSantis is popular in FL as a result. Personally, he’s not a bad character, but he’s not his own person.

He’s also a Yale grad which means he’s networked into the ruling class. He was in DC as a Congressman, which implies he knows the Swamp.

In other words, DeSantis is an insider,
as opposed to Donald Trump who is an outsider.
This is important.

Prominent MAGA outsiders say those behind DeSantis, who appear to be prodding DeSantis, pushing him to run against Trump, are establishment insiders.

Donald Trump Jr. said his father refuses to take establishment money so he can’t be controlled, which explains why establishment insiders feel they are losing control.

It’s all about control.

Establishment insiders are throwing everything they got against Trump.

DeSantis is caught in the crossfire.

Trump is a top down guy and will leave the bottom up dynamic necessary to clearing out the local dead wood in towns and counties alone. It is at the local levels-ie., city and county commissions where America’s culture is honed and re-tethered to the Founders vision for the country. DeSantis understands what needs to be done at the local level. He is hell bent on removing the woke agenda from the eyes of the next generation, the seedpod. Watching DeSantis remove the woke from school boards, colleges, and corporate boardrooms is the single most important strategy for hearts and minds going forward. Trump may have the bigger mouth, but his mouth will never garner the support of centrist female Democrats with children who will be quota’d out of their places in line notwithstanding raising better children than those who will receive positions based on equity. Indeed, DeSantis aims to crush the woke from society. He is better equipped to speak to a larger population segment. He has three small children. Women will find this Kennedyesque. Make no mistake. Women operate on emotion. The left has engaged in these psyops on the noncritical thinking creatures for many years.

Ridiculous exaggeration is also what Trump does. I thought you would like that. Or are you calling Trump a liberal?

Trump is a 6-time loser as leader of the GOP.

2018 Midterms

2020 General

2020 Georgia Special Election 1

2020 Georgia Special Election 2

2022 Midterms

2022 Georgia Special Election

These were all lost with Trump and his team in charge of the GOP who set the overall strategy.

They learned NOTHING from the 2020 loss/theft and how to combat ballot harvesting.

Now, after 3 more losses, Trump talks about doing ballot harvesting himself (which is good)

But I see little more from Trump that he learned his lessons of hiring Wray, keeping Fauci, hiring Bolton, etc.

Trump LIED about Kathy Barnette in Pennsylvania (a true black conservative) to install Dr Oz as Pennsylvania's senate candidate. Dr Oz is a dual citizen (Turkey/US) in favor of assault weapon bans, firearm registration and gender transition for children. He lost to a mentally incapacitated candidate because real conservatives could not vote for such a leftist. We knew it was better to let Fetterman win and then kick him out than to be stuck with a leftist RINO.

Rove is a leech. He was on with watters recently arguing that it was fetterman ‘s personal decision to run knowing his condition. Watters position was the evil dem party apparatus forced him. Rove sounded like an apologist for the dem party.

Trump endorsed Herschel Walker, womanizer, pro-abortion, hush-money misogynist over several other conservative candidates for Senate in Georgia. Walker went on to lose to communist Warnock in the special election.

Checkmate. Amazing that people are totally blind to the disaster of Trump in 2020. Fauci, 15 days to flatten the country, CARES, CARES II, doing nothing but Tweet storming while cities burned.

Trump failed so miserably, yet people here are in such denial.

The day Bush had Reagan's microphone turned off, showed me what kind of person GHWB was and what kind of person Reagan was. Bush was not worthy of any higher office after that stunt.
