Who's behind Ron DeSantis, then?
FR ^ | March 3 | RF

Posted on 03/02/2023 11:51:39 PM PST by RandFan

I have some genuine questions and I have no malice against Ron DeSantis or his supporters but a few things trouble me about him!

He has the tacit support of the Bushes.

I know they want anyone but Trump but as one Freeper put it: Will he blow kisses back?

What does having their support mean? Does it mean Karl Rove becomes an advisor? Campaign cash, staff and what not?

Think about it.

It's not just some throw away endorsement by them it comes with serious muscle, donors, etc.

He's also visiting Texas instead of CPAC.

Will he be hanging out with Ron Paul or the Bush clan?

This will be telling to me.

I notice Fox and Murdoch are also pushing him heavily.

Again, anyone but Trump is the cry but that also comes with serious muscle and TV/media coverage.

Will DeSantis sell his soul for all this and to try and be president and if he succeeded with all these connections just WHAT kind of president will he be?

THIS is what I'm thinking and what worries me.

I much prefer Trump the disruptor. Tried and tested and you know what you're getting.

Whether you like him or not Ron is much more of a conventional politician.

Just some thoughts, FRiends...

I’m with you on this. Talk is cheap Florida ain’t the WH. Power goes up exponentially. I think we should tread softly. IMO

In addition to all of that, so many of those with DeSantis Syndrome talk/write as if he did all of these things by himself. No one seems to talk about the legislature, the county commissions/city councils, Sheriffs and Police Chiefs, and a majority Republican citizenry helped by 883,000 Republican’s moving to Florida.

Give him a legislature that hates him and everything he stands for(even the Republican’s in it), give him Sheriffs/Police Chiefs/County Commissions/City Councils that hate him, sue him and ignore him, give him a sizable chunk of the population that hates him for reasons they don’t even know, give him an Attorney Generals office that will collude with law enforcement in an attempt to impeach/imprison him and lets see how successful he is.

The people of Florida are very, very lucky to have him, a legislature that actually seems to car, and local governments that actually seem to care.

And to all those with DeSantis Syndrome...he didn’t make them Conservatives, they moved to Florida that way, finally figuring out a way to get out of NY, NJ, Conn, etc etc, or they moved for work.

People have been moving to that state forever. Covid and all the nonsense that went with it, some of which he fully supported, just made it more of an issue.

“My hope for 2024 is that Trump and Governor DeSantis of Florida will slug it out for the Republican nomination. Trump has turned into a pitiful figure, continually bemoaning his loss in 2020. Big Republican donors are abandoning him in droves. DeSantis is shrewd, ruthless and ambitious. He is likely to be the Republican candidate.”

Soros went on to express his hope that Trump would then run as a third-party candidate, splitting the conservative vote and leading to a “Democratic landslide.”

Folks can decide for themselves what they think Soros meant by this.

So,
Soros recognizes the MAGA vs R party of Bush, Dole, Bush,McCain, Romney fight..

The R party hasn’t been sending their best to be President, have they?

It took a former Democrat to infiltrate a party of McCain and Romney..

And who’s the threat?
Trump of course..

Trump is not a conservative.

And there’s the trap that you and all the other Never-Trumpers, TDS and DeSantis Fanboi’s fall into every day, all day.

I doubt you could find more than a handful of folks that supported and still support Pres Trump that would ever say they hold him up to be some type of Conservative Icon.

What they will tell you is how much they liked that he seem to “actually give a sh*t” about the little guy. How he actually took the time to look at and renegotiate trade agreements that were screwing over American companies and the American people.

Think of the Conservatives in Congress...any of them give a sh*t about the border? Cruz, the Conservative Icon, went so far as to publicly criticize Pres Trump when he tweeted about shutting the border, completely. Rather than reach out to Pres Trump and learn that the closing of the border could/would be used as leverage on AMLO to get more concessions from Mexico about the border and illegal immigration, what did a Conservative Member of Congress do? Ran to twitter to criticize him.

McConnell, Gowdy, Boehner, Cantor, Crenshaw, Scalise, Graham, Thune, Cornyn, Barasso, Rubio, Tim Scott, Ernst, Capito, etc etc etc are/were ALL considered Conservative. If that’s Conservative I’m happy as hell that Pres Trump wasn’t.

No, kid, you just wanted to rant about something. Rant, Rant, Rant. You have no impulse control. No self control. I never ranted about Trump, but you just wanted to rant on someone and so you made up that I did. What’s next, are you going to call me a Kike or some other Nazi word you children use on the web?

How did DeSantis help him in 2016?

Florida is a Republican state. It would be ridiculously Republican except for 2 or 3 counties in South Florida and all the illegal immigration.

Pres Trump needed no help there or anywhere else in the South and Midwest.

He would bring his own team from Florida, people that he trusts and that have been effective, but also from outside the DC bubble

Just as Pres Trump had an approved list to pick from, DeSantis will have an approved list to pick from. Schumer, McConnell and the other puppet masters will let that be known.

“Men in dark suits” rule the US - Putin on Deep State https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XP3D1sUSuzg go to the 2:40 mark ... see what he has to say

https://thewashingtonstandard.com/watch-putin-says-us-presidents-puppets-men-dark-suits-rule-dc/ ......

“You know, I’ve communicated with one U.S. president, and a second, and a third — presidents come and go but the politics remain the same,” the Russian President said.

“Do you know why that is?” Putin asked, before exposing the actual workings of the American governmental system.

“So a person is elected — he comes with ideas,” Putin explained. “Then people with briefcases come visit him, well-dressed, in dark suits — kind of like mine. Except instead of a red tie it’s black or navy.”

Putin clearly understands how the Deep State charade works and his exposure of these operations, and the fact that people pull the actual strings of government, is a direct challenge to their covert operations.

So yeah, I’m sure he’ll be able to do whatever he wants.

Desantis has taken ownership. Trump hasn’t taken a scintilla of ownership for what he did.

Here’s my take....

I NEVER thought Pres Trump was a Conservative. EVER. Although he did make decisions like one.

Pres Trump had a deck stacked against him that a lesser man would have crumbled. I think the only reason he didn’t was because the people were behind him. Lined up days in advance to see him speak.

Pres Trump didn’t take sh*t from anyone. Did he compromise? Yes. Absolutely.

Pres Trump, for 4 years, asked Congress for a budget, submitted his own, was ignored and forced to sign CRs because the scumbags in Congress learned that they can get away with operating like that. Because he was painted into a corner. Shut it down and negotiate(which more people would have wanted than he probably thought) or sign it and move on.

Sadly the voters still haven’t figured out that their own representatives and Senators are all in on the scam, even the ones “they like or are one of the good ones”. There are maybe 20-25 out of the 535 members of Congress that could even remotely be considered “one of the good ones”.

Pres Trump had a Republican House and Senate for the first 2 years. Other than tax cuts, they gave him nothing and threw away their majorities.

And you know what, Soetero had a Dem House and Senate for his first 2 years. They gave him obamacare and NOTHING else. Then threw away their majorities.

That’s very telling as to how those scumbags operate, but the people keep sending them back.

Matt Rosendale spells it out, IMHO..... Rep. Matt Rosendale GOES OFF over What He Calls Congress’s “Nasty Little Secret” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THuPiL_L9BU

Trump has not shown even a hint of remorse or regret for the damage he caused by turning the country over to Fauci and pushing the poison “vaccine” that doesn’t work. None.

But, but, but, Trump’s a fighter. It’s all they have left. He’s now a senile old fool, with no impulse control, but he is more cognitive than the other senile fellow people in the White House.

His supporters are still giving him a pass on Fauci, Milley, and other assorted incompetents and miscreants. He doesn’t value competence, he values blind loyalty.

Many here, including myself, were what I would call primary Trump supporters when the other idiots denounced him until he actually won. I, personally, called out that he had best get the rule of law enforced or it would destroy his work, and it has.

These kids that know nothing of even the past few years mouthing off are just showing their stupidity and the #MeToo mindset they follow. Feeble minded fools. Young and stupid.

Fighting on social media is nothing. It’s literally kids play. I want to see Trump fight in government, hire fighters, and jail some of the criminals. Not a single democrat went to jail in his tenure. What ever happened to Hillary going to jail as he stated? Hell, the J6 prisoners were not pardoned as he needed to do. Trump was completely blindsided by J6, yet, all the signs were there. Trump did lots of great things, a list of thousands of them are on the web, but he is not yet the fighter we need. No rule of law means nothing else matters.

I am not advocating DeSantis run in 2024, but he has used his powers here in Florida. He has stood his ground, hired fighters and wins battles. Every week, there is constant news of his winning here in Florida. As Joe Brower to join the Florida ping list. Weekly there is a major accomplishment from DeSantis and the Florida legislature.

I want Trump in power in 2024, beat the election steal, and hire nothing but Rottweilers in every position. I want DeSantis to continue to make good for Florida, set the tone for the rest of the nation, and run in 2028.
