So, no addressing the latest releases that it can cause cancer, early death, disease and so on? I have done this fasting and like it, but the latest “news” has made me hesitant.

Benefits can only come from something that had a patent.

I don’t think one’s body is so picky that timing of meals can make a big difference. If that was all that was needed to change lives, we would have had hunger patterns that led to better timing.

The “latest studies” are bogus. The most recent one attacks intermittent fasting but had ZERO to do with it:

Bottom line: Looked at people skipping meals due to poverty, etc. Not people intentionally doing it along with changes in types of food consumed. If you fast while eating Twinkies, it doesn’t work.

When you fast regularly your body is better able to clean up old cells and regenerate new ones. A book called The 5:2 Diet got me started a number of years ago. It’s still in print, look it up.
Whether you fast 2 days a week or 16 hours a day (including sleeping times), I would bet the farm it can be good for anyone.
It is intimidating to start, but after the first one or two intervals it gets much easier.
But who knows? After the year we’ve had so far we may all be fasting by summer, eh? :/
