Newspapers pulled Adams's 'Dilbert' comics and the left thundered its umbrage after Adams reacted to a poll suggesting significant bigotry among black respondents.
We know that the left is always looking for an opportunity to silence those who challenge their groupthink. Their target isn’t only conservatives but anybody who disagrees with their worldview even in the slightest possible way.
They left lives in the hope that contrarians to their groupthink will either misspeak or express a nuanced and detailed idea that can be extracted, stripped of context, and made to appear bigoted. This gives them reason to mount a social media campaign and initiate cancellation.
Yesterday it was satirist and thinker Scott Adams's turn to be cancelled.
USAToday announced that it would stop publishing Adams's "Dilbert" cartoon because they ‘lead with inclusion and strive to maintain a respectful and equitable environment for the diverse communities we serve nationwide.’
Cleveland’s Plain Dealer newspaper also decided not to publish any of Adam’s cartoons.
John Hiner of MLive Media in Michigan wrote in an editorial, “We will work quickly to find a replacement that will entertain you and not violate basic standards of decency and respect for others.”
Many other outlets followed and did away with Adams.
Adams has been producing Dilbert for three decades and they are seen as a devastatingly satirical commentary on workplace policies.
What did Scott Adams do such that he merited cancellation?
Adams become a nationwide trending topic after he said that black people are "a hate group and I don't want to have anything to do with them."
He also said the following:
"Based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from black people."

Indeed the only culture the left has can be seen in a microscope slide.
Not if they’re “white” Hispanics./S
Absolutely. I put as much ground between blacks and myself as possible. Blacks have become the biggest racist in the U.S. not to mention some of the most violent criminals.
Everything he said is true.
The order's different but the slogan is the same - inclusion, equity, and diversity. People don't start to talk like this until their brains are turned completely off.
Adams has checked out of the legacy media game because he can. Others have to keep their mouths shut or lose their jobs. Just because people can't say it doesn't mean they're not thinking it, and people who pretend to be shocked at this point are only fooling themselves.
Your screen name is offensive and racisss.
Well, somebody’s got to say it!
SARCASM
Everyone, including Scott Adams, seems to be accepting the Rasmussen numbers as accurate and meaningful, when it’s really just one more attempt among thousands to divide and destroy our country.
Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame) has been having a hard time since he realized he has been Vax Injured and began his regret for dismissing and cancelling all us “conspiracy” folks warning him about the bad vaccines and even worse government we had been telling him about.
Most people are good. More than that survey implies. I Pray we don’t become a bunch of “Scott Adams”, choosing civil war, race war, and worse instead.

I saw one in a hotel lobby last weekend.
Yeah, but sometimes I just want a truly unbiased source. At least, very close to it.
I hate those asses on “yahoo” news. They are “overtly” anti-America, anti-white, etc. Who can take such a name seriously, anyway?
“the Anti-Defamation League has deemed a hate slogan”
Oh, the Jewish ADL declared “it’s OK to be white” as “hate(sic)”, so it’s not a fair question to ask?
Sort of like, “Black Lives Matter”?

I hear what you're saying, OlLine Rebel.
Getting a quality newspaper, magazine or textbook in your hands is a wonderful the way to learn and engage the brain. Though the interactive nature of Free Republic and intelligence of FReepers is an internet exception.
Before it was bought by the Chinese and became mostly "woke", I subscribed to Fortune Magazine and used to get a lot of professional perspective on the high tech business there. Now, I guess, only Forbes survives as a solid national business magazine.
Recently moved to a mid-sized city north of Tokyo and pleased to see that magazine reading is alive and well here. At the local city bookstore, it's surprising to see all the special interest magazines being sold on the shelf. My guess is the amount of shelf space devoted to magazines is at least 5 times more than you see in America.
It's an oddity I want to explore a bit more.
I’d like the full break-down of the numbers.
All I know now, is 1000 people (likely voters) were asked. How many were black? Are they all over the country? There are several categories included for some questions, so it’s not just whites and blacks asked, which dilutes it more. Also, did they ask “it’s OK to be black”?
I’d like to see more to get a better gist.
However, it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s pretty accurate. We need to be REALISTIC, not simply pretend things are all rosy.
As for what those of a group think, I really don’t care as long as they’re not beating me up. They should have the freedom to think what they wish - just don’t “act” on it.
Seriously, when was the last time anybody read a newspaper?
I remember when the train platforms at Grand Central had huge recycle bins like that pictured below for commuters to toss their newspapers in. Those have all but disappeared as all the commuters are now buried in their electronic devices.
So the Japanese, though so technologically advanced and innovative, know the limits. It’s great to have all this stuff, but often, everything has its place. Interaction with others is a huge advantage with the Internet; quick information, too - but general reading, not so much.
Nor the truth Chris Rock told.....before he disavowed this routine....

From 1997.... I got some yuks.
Adams always said he “identified as Black” in order to take their side on most issues and to help improve their status against racism.
He suddenly realized after the poll he cited that this “identification as Black” not only wasn’t working but the trend among the Black population is anti-white.
He’s simply late to the party. He should have read the book “White Girl Bleed a Lot” by investigative reporter Colin Flaherty which detailed the trend toward Blacks attacking Whites nationwide.
I don't commonly listen to Adams' podcasts but I do enjoy the Dilbert comic strip. When I saw the cancel notes and his quote I immediately figured I should listen to all of what he said. Here's a link to the actual cast, starting around 13:22. It takes barely ten minutes and is worth the listen. Toward the end he makes it clear that your worry, above, is not recommended.
Remember in 2016, he came out as a Hillary Clinton supporter because he said he didn't want to get killed?
Direct to customer subscription of his cartoon. If he has 100K fans, charge $1 a month. I’d pay a minimal amount in a subscription.
