For all the long-term pot users I know, their brain goes before their heart does

Is it the weed or the bizarre munchie pigouts that weed can bring on?

Any correlation with the rest of their lifestyles?
That's what I was wondering. Not necessarily the smoking that's the problem, but all the bags of Doritos.

Smoking, and Dorito-fueled couch-lock, probably.

“The body produces CBD naturally.”
Well, the body produces endocannabinoids, which is why we have endocannabinoid receptors. Saying CBD is produced naturally in the body is pretty loose use of language.
I utilize both oral CBD tinctures and occasionally vape CBD when I need an immediate anti-spasmodic effect.

My 88 year old lady friend tokes up 2-3 times a day with Democracy Now! playing in the background.

I tune in to Democracy Now! infrequently.
If I imagine that, plus pot, ... it would be it’s own trip.

Re: "Daily marijuana users are one-third more likely to develop coronary artery disease (CAD)."
Before Covid, 10% of total USA deaths were caused by coronary artery disease.
So, before Covid, life time risk of a CAD fatality for daily marijuana smokers was 13.4% - plus 3.4% risk.
