It is believed that before crashing into Cervantes, Molina had been served eight double vodka Red Bull cocktails and 16 single shots, according to KDFWHow do you serve somebody that much booze? The bartender is in a load of trouble that the restaurant will be sued beyond belief.

How do you serve somebody that much booze?
How does the drinker not pass out?

How do you serve somebody that much booze? I think the article was poorly written. From the article: "Eight doubles, 16 single shots, is more than anybody should have in a three-hour period. Maybe even at all,' Lake Worth Police Chief J.T. Manoushagian said." It appears that there were eight drinks, comprising a total of 16 shots, rather than eight drinks plus 16 shots. Still way too much, obviously.

This is one instance where I’d probably support pulling the liquor license from this bar. Especially if it’s a smaller bar with 1-2 bartenders who chose to ignore how hammered this guy was when he walked out with his keys.

The red bull in the mixer. It creates what they call a wide awake drunk.

The article states a bartender was arrested so that may imply it was all one bartender who served him all the drinks over a 3-hour period. Awful.

I've had close to the corrected amount (many years ago) and my stomach still turns at the memory. I was wondering how someone even survived double that amount. I can stop wondering.

How does the drinker not pass out? It's called tolerance. This dude is not a newcomer to the party.

I know cases where if someone ordered say rum and cokes, after about 5 or 6, the bartender would just give them the coke without rum, and they usually never even noticed.

An ex in-law could drink a fifth of Rye and chase it with a six pack and not pass out. Did this on a daily basis. You could not figure out how the guy was standing, the only thing was you could not understand what he said.
To: DesertRhino
Is this drink any good? I have never had it but I stay away from Red Bull because of the caffeine.

The drunk driver looks like a complete fat slob.
I guess he'll have plenty of time in prison to hit the gym.
