The original CZ-75 had no firing pin block - that was added with the CZ-75B. The 75BD has the block and a decocker. I was not familiar with the Springfield clone, but seemed like a very poor decision to clone something that was upgraded 2x by the original manufacturer and not include the upgrades.

Don't get me wrong, I am a big CZ fan and my SHTF sidearm is a CZ75B in .40. It would not be if it didn't have the firing pin block.

The Springfield clone is a relabeled Tanfoglio TZ-75, if that helps figure it out. The TZ-75 shipped with a troublesome firing pin and block system, but Springfield just removed that instead of waiting for Tanfoglio to fix it.
