thanx for the background & tip.
do they still sell crisco at the supermarket? lol

Re Crisco:
I have read that if you put a clay flower pot, inverted, over it, it can heat a room.
https://youtu.be/xnNHM4OLkvE
Good video, except the part about capping the hole in the inverted clay flower pot.
Many similar videos are on Youtube with room temperature experiments using the clay pot heaters.
Air flow is necessary to create effective room heaters.
You can use two bricks to elevate the clay pots, and set the candle between them under two or three clay pots (small, medium, large).
One smaller clay pot as the internal heater will get very hot. Air from the flame will rise up through the hole at the top of the smaller pot, creating the needed chimney effect.
A larger clay pot atop the smaller one will create an air channel, such that the chimney effect from the candle flame will pull up the cooler air from the room, heat it, and let it rise out the top hole with the candle heat.
This arrangement provides both the radiant heat from the clay pots, and it heats and circulates the room air, like most heaters and stoves have been doing for centuries.
whew.
got about to #9-10 and had to pull out for now.
gotta run errands before happy hour starts.

I read the article today. She introduces people, gives some background about them, talks about her research on them and then doesn’t make a clear conclusion about her research or the people. I know that I can be too linear in my thinking and that my brain likes to follow the dots to their logical conclusion. It doesn’t easily allow for skipping dots or sometimes appreciating any random non-linear dots thrown into an explanation. In Elizabeth’s article, I wasn’t able to follow her dots, which seemed like all over the place to me. What was she trying to tell us about the people she mentioned? I even came away thinking she thinks Flynn might be a BH. This is a colossal fail on my part, but I need some cliff notes on her conclusions from anyone whose thinking is more expansive than mine.
Sure. Crisco is still on the rack at the grocery. The baking crowd would be lost without it.
nice side-step. You did see the word “might” ? I use weasel words like everyone else.
political creds and governmental creds are 2 different things.
my grandfather worked for the real mayor daley but his wife seemed to have more juice.
Type of education means squat for getting into government - see Debbie Dingell among others.
and I was wrong - Jill only has 1 Bachelor degree.
and I am familiar with Pres. Biden's history.
No comment on VP Harris ? Like i said, I was filling in some holes.

I don’t disagree.
different issue. different criteria.
maybe the next project for O’keefe...get the video of Fetterman hooked up being kept alive.
This was enough for the FDA to flag the disease as “an important potential risk” from the RSV shot. Yet Pfizer is still seeking approval for general public use.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Guillain-Barré syndrome is a rare disorder in which your body’s immune system attacks your nerves.

After the last 3 years, people who take any injections beyond those necessary to save their lives or have their teeth drilled are playing Russian roulette. Big pharma (BP) has done the cost/benefit analysis and determined that it’s cheaper to pay off the victims and purchase the politicians who will insulate them from outsize losses. Our odds seems better catching a disease and recovering from it than letting BP “help” us stay healthy.
Thanks.
I am fascinated by what I continually learn here. Good place to use as tool for home schooling.
I’m still waiting for Congress to call his rear up and have him testify and they had better be prepared to slam dunk that jerk.
Jon Herold, a.k.a. Patel Patriot of Devolution Theory fame, is a CPP plant? Say it isn’t so!!
Not this baker. Butter and lard are what Crisco is a substitute for. Try making a croissant with Crisco - blasphème!
Oh my. 511.
I would never eat that shit though
