Nice. And with hands the size of dinner plates (like Leadbelly). I just missed seeing him perform in the Guitar Summit tour — he’d fallen ill on the tour, and that was the illness that ended his life.

Good dogs just kinda different.
Gave the granddaughter a ukulele for her bday. She didn’t know what to think about it. She got into it after a while. May have a rocker in a couple more years.

My typical go-to is a 6 string, 9-24 gauge, bridge pickup only. But I did get a 5 string multiscale bass — very cool. What’s nice about the multiscale is relatively uniform string tension.

Saw Joe Pass about 30 yrs ago along with Paco Pena, John Williams and Leo Kotke. A real feast for the ears.
