The show is set to have a modern spin this time with a female-led storyline, as the eponymous police duo will be Sasha and Nicole, rather than Dave and Ken.

Most of this stuff is label using. Somebody shopping yet another cop show, hey how do we get this an audience, wait we still own the rights to Starky & Hutch, how about we change the characters names add 2 sentences of backstory and walla.

I'm over the remakes with switching of sex/race being the only substantive element. It's just stupid tokenism. Something to fill the $5 DVD bin at Walmart when it falls flat.
