Activist Ling Luo says her Chinese community in Texas has gone from
fearful to infuriated — and they’re demanding that their voices be heard.

By the hundreds, they’ve been taking to the streets all over the state,
pleading with elected officials to kill a piece of legislation they fear
could threaten their futures.

A bill introduced in the Texas Senate in late December has been gaining
over the past month, and it came as a bombshell to Asian Americans and
others across the state. The legislation, SB 147, would make it illegal for

Don’t worry about it. The CCP aborted their millennials, the youngsters they do have are “lying flat,” and Chinese boomers aren’t about to birth any more babies.

“What are the Restrictions on Buying a Property in China as a Foreigner?
The property must be residential
If the property is commercial, a foreigner must incorporate in China
You may own only one property
You must possess a long-term visa
You cannot be a landlord, as a foreigner
You must pay a 1% deposit and an initial 30% of the purchase price to the seller in RMB, if you are obtaining a mortgage”

The biggest problem I see is that you don’t need to own land next to a military base in order to plant surveillance devices on it. I suppose owning it might make it easier to keep them secret, but not much.

I suspect that what they are trying to do is identify individuals who know secrets so they can spy on them and learn what they know. They probably monitor their social media accounts hoping they will say stuff. They may even recruit them as spies.

Why not? States can regulate who buys property within that state. It’s not a federal issue at all.

Can you own property in Mexico as a US citizen? No. How about China? No. Japan? Germany?
