CHAMPAIGH, Ill. (WCCU) — Urbana resident Jacqueline Smith, 56, was arrested for the 96th time on Tuesday just after 2 a.m. for aggravated assault after she threatened a woman with a knife, according to police.
Many people online and across the Champaign-Urbana area are wondering how this many arrests are possible.
Fox Illinois spoke with the Champaign County State's Attorney Julia Rietz about Smith's record.
"Criminal trespass, resisting a peace officer, I think the most recent one was aggravated assault, which...I think, think it sounds like it's a physical battery, but what it is actually is putting someone in fear of being battered,” said Rietz.
Smith's arrests in Champaign County started in 1984 with multiple charges of prostitution. By the early 1990s the Champaign County court system asked for Smith to be evaluated by a psychiatrist.
"There was a request to have her analyzed for mental health issues and she was found during the course of those situations found guilty but mentally ill," Rietz said.
Since then, Smith has had a number of cases where her legal team asked for mental health treatment rather than jail time and the court agreed.

Smith has already missed a psych evaluation and court date related to this case.

It raises questions about the voters who keep voting for the Soros attorneys general and DAs.
It raises questions about the mental health and intelligence in the justice system.

I don’t think they are wondering how many arrests are possible, they’re wondering how come she’s still walking about free. They obviously haven’t seen her picture, it would be “racist” to expect her to behave herself.
I knew this was coming, lol.
She needs the man-juice. No volunteers=guilty.
This started long before those guys were elected.
It is a ongoing problem with the system where you take someone who is unbalanced, get them into treatment where they are stabilized and then send them back into the world with a bottle of pills and tell them to remember to take them.
In a move that surprises no one they don't, they go off their nut and do something that lands them right back in the kooky jar.
It is a cycle that needs to be stopped.

I question the mental health of her clientele.
Wouldn’t it be great if they could invent something like a hospital, but with security, where criminally insane people could be kept, for the protection of themselves and the public? I know this is like the Jetsons’ flying car. But maybe someday something will be invented.
If she were a few shades lighter she’d pass for a Russian billionaire.
Shes a woman. Gynosociety gives her the woman card pass. Gynosociety actually generates all the excuses FOR her.
Then it runs an article like this feigning shock on “how such a thing happens”.
They encourage and enable it.
Men get jail for the same crimes they don’t give women jail for. When you look at sentences, if a woman gets jail, its about 1/3 of the time a man gets, for the same crime.
Wow, with these qualifications, this person could serve on Joe Bidens Cabinet.
Her constant arrests are due to White supremacy.
I feel sorry for any victims that didn’t vote Democrat.
