Angel, the founder of Angel Cakes, was robbed while running errands in her car. After a suspect ran off with personal items into another waiting car, Angel gave chase and somehow got caught in the car door “and was dragged more than 50 feet before falling free in the middle of the street," according to Oakland Side.
She sustained serious injuries and was in the hospital, dying shortly after doctors confirmed she had lost all brain function.
In their post about her death, Angel's family and friends stated they hope her death does not continue the cycle of violence from the authorities:
"As a long-time social movement activist and anarchist, Jen did not believe in state violence, carceral punishment, or incarceration as an effective or just solution to social violence and inequity. The outpouring of support and care for Jen, her family and friends, and the values she held dear is a resounding demonstration of the response to harm that Jen believed in: community members relying on one another, leading with love, centering the needs of the most vulnerable, and not resorting to vengeance and inflicting more harm. "

I read the article but I didn’t find The Reason Why. There’s a lot of jargon but no coherent explanation. Also “the reason” implies why so you don’t say “the reason why” if you have any education at all. You could say the reason that or the reason for or you could simply say “why”.

Exactly. Murderers are a menace to society and inocent people everywhere. If they’re not kept under confinement, and they murder again, their next victim can be blamed on the state.

A serious mental disorder that prevents understanding the difference -- the profound difference between taking the life of an innocent victim with the societal, moral and religious imperative of not allowing the murderer to keep theirs.
Good for her. However, we don't live in "The Republic of Jen" where her rules are the law.
We live in The Republic of The United States that has rules and laws to be followed, and which citizens expect...no...have RIGHT to have them enforced since they are LAWS passed by Constitutional legislation.
So, if this violent felon kills someone again after they are set free, whose fault will that be? Hers? The legal system? Who knows?
I don't wish for harm to come to anyone. But these people who classify themselves as "long-time social movement activists and anarchists" should be forced to live by the rules they promulgate. And they should be the first in line to do so. And most DEFINITELY should have to be subject to the consequences of thes rules they promote BEFORE they are allowed to run for office.
Thomas Sowell has accurately pointed out that the people who promlugate these insane ideas do not have to live in the destructive and corrosive environment they create, but if they did, we might not have them pushing these things the way they do.
Exactly. Just letting a murderer go free because of, well, whatever, puts someone else, someone innocent, at risk.
