Except it happens so often. Yeah I realize that it’s still a tiny percentage of people. But it’s unfortunately a part of life for black people. And can lead to them being killed when the police don’t realize they’re dealing with an idiot.

Why are you making this racial? Do you see all the cases where someone calls the police because they didn’t get the hamburger they wanted at a drive up?
Statistics show that white people are more likely to be killed improperly by police. The whole premise of your comment is baseless.
The police nowadays know when they are receiving a ridiculous call from a hysterical citizen they do not go running there to shoot the person.
Nor did any such thing happen in this case. The lady calling in the complaint is more likely to be arrested.
This doesn’t happen to only black technicians. Used to do renovations before retirement and some folks are just a real PITA. Especially in the southern retirement states. Folks from “up north” were always the worst. They watch you like they have a clue what you are doing, give advise and make demands as if they know what the job entails and then question every line in a billing as though every tech is trying to rob them blind. And Then there are the transplants from some union state that always points out”THAT’S not how we did it up north”. Damn glad I’m retired.
I remember that case of John Crawford. Not only was Crawford killed, but a woman with children died of a heart attack when she saw the police shoot Crawford.
That case happened around the time Tamir Rice was shot and killed by police for playing with a toy gun.
All kinds of people, including white kids, either unarmed or holding toy guns, are shot and killed by police.
What I hate are the double standards on both sides. The Left shrugs it off when it happens to someone who's white, and many people on the Right shrug it off when it happens to someone who isn't.
