Whether you're rooting for the Eagles or Chiefs in Super Bowl 57, one immutable fact everyone can agree on is this: Puppies are cute, and fun to watch.
Thankfully for fans of both teams (or neither), Puppy Bowl 2023 will more than satisfy their cute quota on Super Bowl Sunday as more than 100 pups from across the United States bumble, stumble and tumble their way onto TV screens (and into hearts).
The event, of course, is charitable in nature: Event organizers aim to continue the Puppy Bowl's streak of 100 percent adoption rates. That shouldn't be a problem as viewers across the nation tune into watch the cutest of Super Bowl pregame events.

What time is the Puppy Bowl in 2023?
Date: Sunday, Feb. 12
Time: 2 p.m. ET
The Puppy Bowl begins with a pregame showing at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 12, before the event kicks off in earnest at 2 p.m. ET. It is scheduled to run for three hours, ending at 5 p.m. ET, an hour and a half before Super Bowl 57 kicks off.

TV channel: Animal Planet
Live stream: discovery+, fuboTV
Animal Planet will once again televise the Puppy Bowl, entering its 19th installment in 2023. Astoundingly, the event will feature the same two teams that have made the event over the past several years: Team Ruff and Team Fluff.
Streaming options include discovery+ and fuboTV, which offers a free trial for new users.
Puppy Bowl adoptions 2023
The Puppy Bowl is pure entertainment, but there is a good underlying cause underneath the puppy piles. The event will feature will feature 122 adoptable puppies — including 11 special-needs dogs — from 67 shelters and rescues across 34 states. As noted by event organizers:
Puppy Bowl celebrates adoptable pups in all their cuteness and showcases the incredible shelters and rescues, as well as their staffers, who dedicate their lives to helping animals find their fur-ever loving homes.
This year an astounding 67 shelters and rescues from 33 states bring more than 100 incredible adoptable puppy players out to sport their Team Ruff and Team Fluff bandanas. Watch these players give it their all to chase, fetch, guard, heel and sprint to the end zone.

According to a story a few days ago, a couple of rescue puppies from Dr. Fauchi’s NIH lab were going to be playing.
I bet they can catch the ball on the fly, too!
