CHICAGO, Wednesday, Feb. 11.

A special dispatch from Cairo to-day, says that news has been received from Vicksburgh to Saturday.

The ram Queen has returned from below. Her trip down the river was most successful. She met three steamers with provisions for the rebels at Vicksburgh, and succeeded in sinking them. She took 56 prisoners, one of whom was a Colonel. The Queen went near enough Port Hudson to draw the fire from their upper battery.

How Did the Rebels Get the News? – 5

The NYT sure has nerve. They loudly proclaim the Union strategies and publish information useful to the enemy like strength and casualty lists. Captain Rhodes was recently mentioning the trade of coffee, tobacco, and newspapers with the Rebel pickets. The authorities in Richmond are getting the papers only a few days after publication.
