The best comedies are out-of-the-blue and word-of-mouth. I’m convinced that trailers and advertising do more to hurt comedies than help them.

Chances are high that sooner or later, you’ll get a batch cut with fentanyl.
The Chinese CCP wants Americans dead, the Mexican Cartels certainly don’t care - and many parts of the US Government seem happy to allow both of them to do it.

But the recent performance of high-concept, R-rated comedies — from “Bros” to “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent,” “Long Shot” to “Tag”...Bros was a gay romcom - no surprise it didn't find an audience. As for the others, never heard of them.
