When are the voters who pay for these useless schools going to wake up?
According to WBFF-TV (Fox45), the Maryland State Department of Education recently released Baltimore students' 2022 test results, which revealed that an incredible 93% of third- through eighth-graders tested below their grade level in math.
In fact, after analyzing the results, the Baltimore news station found 23 city schools where not a single student tested proficient in math.
The terrible twenty-three comprised ten high schools, eight elementary schools, three middle and high schools, and two elementary and middle schools.
In total, 2,000 students at those "learning institutions" took the math assessment, and zero scored at grade level. Not. A. Single. One.
And the vast majority of Baltimore's other grade, middle, and high schools didn't fare much better, as most of their students received abysmal test scores as well.
0 for 2000? How is that possible? And we're not talking about "genius" or "exceptional" students, or even those above average — just those competent at their grade level!
Of which there were none at those 23 institutions of lower edumacation. And zero/none is less than "any."

“IQ is also genetic - and it has always annoyed my how so many conservatives in the US and Europe deny biology and instead e stress “culture” and “assimilation.”
It is absolutely genetic, that’s why it’s a hard problem to fix.
And as for those who blame culture for poor performance, where do they think culture comes from? IQ is upstream of culture. Societies with higher average IQs have much more successful cultures.
And what is “culture”? Culture is simply the set of rules for living and behavior that a society has come up with through eons of experience that it endorses and enforces through various means. The smarter a society is on the average the better choices it makes regarding those rules.
It’s really that simple.
LOL
Four causes, maybe more but the four I think had the biggest impact:
1. Government funds = Government control
2. Greed and rise of teachers Unions, a powerful socialist/secularist organization that gets power through control of pay.
3. Drugs, drugs and more drugs so teachers do not have to manage classrooms.
4. Teachers teach to the lowest common denominator to prevent students from feeling bad. Better to keep every student dumb than hurt some kids feelings about themselves.
OK, next you have to ask yourself, (and answer) who allows such teachers and drugs to be in our classrooms?
Teachers Unions and teachers (most) push for the medicating of children to make their lives easier despite knowing how it affects a child's ability to learn and comprehend. Makes it easier to manage a classroom. Learning be damned. Unions make it very difficult if not near impossible to fire a teacher for anything other than physical or sexual abuse. Incompetence is not grounds to terminate a teacher. In some states technically it is, but Unions make near impossible.
