Kaleb Boateng, a Gators offensive lineman who transferred from Clemson following the 2020 season, died late Thursday night, according to statements from both teams released Friday.
Boateng spent time with Clemson from 2019-20 before coming to Florida as a preferred walk-on. He didn’t make an appearance in 2021 and isn’t listed on the Gators’ 2022 roster.
Florida head coach Billy Napier called Boateng “a beloved friend, son and teammate” despite having a short amount of time together in a Twitter post Friday.

The question is why a jock college football quarterback isn't playing the college field?
One thing about the U of F campus is that it is a warm weather school with lots of loose bodywear walking around.

Sparky Anderson was a guest on an episode of ‘WKRP In Cincinnati’. He commented that he hated to tell kids they didn’t make the cut. He said ‘they think I’m talking about life when I’m only talking about baseball’.
That’s right, the NFL QB’s kid.
As you can tell, I haven’t been paying attention to football recently.
I only heard about him through an article posted here whenever that was.
I didn’t know he was already with the team for two years.
In that case, definitely odd for a high school girl to have his number...
