He is heavier and his jaw is stronger. But he is not as fast. And coyotes have a larger mouth opening and sharper teeth. So it would be a matter of who is meaner. I am guessing the coyotes taught him where the human garbage was. He is not likely to catch rabbits. He probably lived off of garbage and road kill.
I think that he looks like I Pit/Lab mix.
I wouldn’t argue that.
There’s a ton of them with varying percentages.
He looks healthy. I’m no vet though.
I’ll bet that if you asked him, he’d say, “once you’ve had a coyote, there’s no going back!”
The video says he has an eye infection, stones in his stomach (they will see if they will pass), lots of bite marks on his face, and a broken toe (that will be removed). He was limping when the captured him. They figured if he continued with those problems, the coyotes would turn on him.
All in all, surprisingly healthy.
This is FR, I don’t need to read anything…
If it makes you feel better, I’m actually concentrating on my work.
Who reads? I watched the video. ;>)
Work? What’s that? (happily retired 5 years now)
Congrats on being retired. I took my retirement from age 18-26…
I get paid well, left alone, and design in shorts and a wifebeater t-shirt…
Sounds like the life! And pound the FR keyboard now and then, too.
Drink too much coffee, do some work, talk trash on FR, eat avocados and grapefruit…
