Three people were found dead from gunshot wounds inside a $2 million home in Andover, Massachusetts, early Thursday, as authorities continue to disclose more details.
The Andover Police Department received a 911 call around 3 a.m. Officers responded to the address at 48 Porter Road, where three people were found deceased and suffering from gunshot wounds, Essex District Attorney Paul F. Tucker told reporters at the scene. The three victims were a 56-year-old father, a 55-year-old mother and their 12-year-old son, Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe added. Police said the 911 call came from inside the home and officers had to breach two doors to get inside.
"I want to make sure that the people also know that right now there is no danger to anyone in the public," Tucker said. "We believe this is a scene that’s contained at 48 Porter Road."

I agree with your point. I don’t understand the obsession with a large home. It doesn’t make you happier. The upkeep, utilities, taxes and insurance have to be killers.
Sometimes people that are in really big houses are also in really big debt. Therefore, IF something changes with their cash flow, their world comes crashing down.
There is a story here in southern NH from twenty years ago about a rich guy that lived in a big fancy house.
One day he went down to the Nashua airport, took off in his private plane, flew over to his house west of town and dive bombed the plane into the house. He killed himself and burned the house to the ground. Fortunately, his wife and son were not home. She wanted a divorce.

Just watched Channel 5’s story...one neighbor was saying how horrible it is to see yet another example of “gun violence”. Surely a Biden voter.

I had a neighbor with two new foreign cars and a nice house. The water company came by and did a little digging in a 10 x 10 area and threw down some seeds and straw and called it good. He was complaining to me that he didn’t have enough money after his monthly expenses to hire someone to bring it back to mature grass. Couldn’t believe it.
