Does it have 6.5 on it? Because some of the later ones were 7.7... From what I understand they rechamber the 7.7 to .308.

Does the rifle separate into halves at the steel band in front? If so, you may have the paratroop version of the rifle. Very rare.

That one looks exactly like one that my brother inherited. He bought some Norma ammunition for it. He got about a 2” group at 50 yards, which is very good considering his 68 year old eyes.
