It’s like legalized gambling, when you are the only place that allows it, you thrive, but once everybody else legalized it, you become like Atlantic City. Vegas has the constantly innovate just to stay afloat, but eventually their time will pass, as well.

The creators of the TV show, “South Park” bought it out of bankruptcy and it is reopening in May according to the latest. I was last there in 2017, when I was in Denver for a Guns N Roses concert. Looking forward to going back when they open.

What would John Denver think of his namesake now? Would he still, “See it rainin’ fire in the sky, the shadow from the starlight softer than a lullaby”?Still the case on the Western Slope of Colorado.

Classic story here - I had some old friends move from southern Kali to our little haven in northern Idaho. After a couple of years it became apparent that (1) they'd turned into screaming liberals; (2) the place was driving them nuts culturally and politically; and (3) they wanted more social services through sheer self-inflicted wounds. I had helped them move in, and I helped them move out...to Denver. For which I do apologize to native Coloradans.
I've heard from them several times since. Crime is an issue in their lives now - it wasn't before - and still they refuse to connect it with their cherished proggie politics. It isn't that they don't see it, it's that they won't. Nice people otherwise, but good riddance.

The trick is going to be...how do you convince them to move to Venezuela. That should be their last chance opportunity to realize that their utopian dreams are backward.

You don’t have to.
