An avalanche of lies in the past 7-8 years seems to have desensitized the U.S. population already possessed of a deeply ingrained normalcy bias. All of this seems to have robbed them of the healthy impulse to believe and support the truth when it is right in front of their face, r, when they can plainly see that a cloud of squid ink and propaganda has descended upon them, eagerly and doggedly to pursue the truth.

The dark, worthless doom-and-gloom-negative-waves are being served up and gobbled down like candy and snorted up like crack. A day without bad news is like a day without sunshine. The industry keeps piling it on, because you know... otherwise the folks might not be aware of how horrible it is out there!
The Can't-Do destroyers of hope arise every day on a mission to shut out the light and suck all the oxygen out of the room while they're at it.
As if people need to be told how bad it is out there, at a time when evil is camped out on every corner.

The Establishment messiah (pick a flavor) is *never* going to arrive to save the world. That's the point. There's big business in all the beatdowns ("Y'all are a bunch of hopeless sinners!"), with the promise of peace and security that's just over the horizon, the elusive gold at the end of the rainbow. The goalpost keeps moving.
Classic MO of a domestic abuser. The abused will repent of whatever tripped off the abuser on any particular day, then it's all cuddly "grace" and "forgiveness" until the next transgression. Rinse and repeat. If only...
When the genuine Can-Do Messiah shows up to lead the way forward, up and out (for all to follow and emulate), the lightning bolt epiphany hits and then it's GAME OVER.
And then comes the shocking realization that the Temple had been built in secret in broad daylight, using all of the little people and details that the dark side never thought important, or denigrated, despised, and discarded outright. Restoration through ingenuity -- it's the good soul and spirit of the operation.

I get it now.
I turned off American TV and only watch Chinese and Korean dramas. THAT is, unbelievably and unfortunately, where there are still our early values. You can see a creep at the edges and you know that Hollywood values will EVENTUALLY get to them but, for the time being, the only good and moral television to watch isn’t from this country anymore. Chinese and Korean dramas defend the moral values we almost took for granted in the past, and regret losing in the present. It seems totally absurd, but is completely true.
As for confronting the left, I do respond to every idiotic email sent by progressive friends. Reasoning with my friends doesn’t work. Their beliefs are like a religion that is recited on NPR until they can regurgitate it like dogma. Rational people suspend reason and some topics, like CRT, become sacred and can’t even be discussed. So I give back my own list of sacred topics, top of which is Trump. No friend talks against Trump to me for any reason, ever!
There are also a lot of Russian shows on YouTube, like that, they have nothing to do with Putin or anything. But there’s certainly no faggotry on them.
