One thing I almost NEVER hear mention when discussing January 6th is that TWO massive pro-Trump rallies had already taken place in DC after the election. Each of these rallies had an estimated 250,000 participants. Both rallies went off peacefully. The ONLY violence around these rallies is when BLM and Antifa attacked rallygoers when they were returning to their hotels or going out to eat AFTER the rally permit had expired. Most of the attacks on rallygoers were aimed at older people and women with children.

When Trump announced that a rally would be held on January 6th, he had already witnessed two massive PEACEFUL rallies and presumed that the January 6th rally would be no different. The MAJOR difference was that the rally was announced weeks in advance, thus allowing time for agent provocateurs to prepare, these provocateurs included FBI and other government assets. That’s why there was such a blizzard of emails, text messages, and documents leading up to January 6th. It would be interesting to compare the email and text traffic surrounding the two prior massive rallies, to that surrounding January 6th.
