Yes, and they lived with one set of parents or the other while building their own little starter house on a few acres donated by one of the parents. And, little by little they became financially independent while eventually taking over the management of the farms as their parents became older and preferred sitting in the rocker on the porch with a couple of grandchildren at their feet. The democrats’ destruction of the generational continuity of the family unit has a lot to do with our nation’s cultural decay you see today.
