I think the balloon being purely a spying device is another example of Biden Administration and the media spreading lies. Using a balloon as a spying platform has numerous disadvantages not the least of which that the balloon is not steerable. By chance it might drift over sites of interest, but it is at the mercy of the winds. However, this balloon could be a test of a bio weapon platform aimed at the US food supply. The balloon drifted over most of the agricultural heartland of the US. A balloon like this would be the ideal platform for spreading Chinese bio weapons aimed at destroying food crops and decimating US livestock production. We know from the Wuhan flu fiasco that the Chinese are actively engaging in bio weapons research. What better way to destroy US power than to cripple the nations food supply. Biden’s green agenda is already threatening food production and a virus that destroys or stunts major food crops or a mutated virulent swine flu or bovine anthrax that kills off our livestock might easily lead to near starvation.
