How about a ban on gun owners using marijuana? Sure, and a ban on Jim Beam drinkers too. Or wine drinkers. Oh, maybe that's you though.

“It’s hard to continue the old objections, considering that functional alcohol users can legally own guns.”
It’s hard to be functional when Marijuana is responsible for psychoses (and miscarriages)...

Should we ban everyone who uses prescription drugs from owning a firearm?

The fact anyone even wonders if such a ban is unconstitutional worries me.
What else will they use to ban people from their 2nd Amendment right?

So if you’re prescribed drugs which you were advised would affect your driving, or working with power tools, it’s A-OK for you to own a firearm?

Good decision by Judge Wyrick. I’m not a marijuana user myself, but there are many older people who use marijuana, often medically prescribed, to alleviate pain. They are otherwise law-abiding gun owners. They should not be penalized and prevented from exercising their Second Amendment rights for such usage. “Shall not be infringed” means just that!

The Judge is incorrect. The addict is incompetent, and the founders would have done the same.

How about a ban on gun owners and their associates using alcohol?
Close to one half of USA gun fatalities involve at least one person who was drinking alcohol.

This question goes to prove that conservatives are perfectly OK with big government, so long as it’s THEIR big government.

George Washington grew the stuff himself. I’m guessing you know someone who has a drug problem and you see anyone who has ever used it as an addict.
