Alex Cora didn’t exactly hide his sign-stealing ways – in fact, the alleged mastermind behind the Astros’ shocking 2017 scandal bragged about them to his new team.

“We stole that [expletive] World Series,” Cora reportedly told his players, according to a Boston Herald transcript.

But nothing like what was going on here.
A live zoom camera was secretly was mounted in center field,
with live transmission to a monitor in the clubhouse,
with analysts studying the live video feed
and relaying that information to the dugout,
with banging on trash can lids to inform the batter.
The batter can’t see any TVs.
Met Bob Feller several times & he would tell you that baseball has a lot of rules bt only a handful are in every clubhouse and gambling was one of them. Rumor is he left instructions with his family that if Rose were to be enshrined, that his plaque be removed.

MLB requires all “Live” action TV to be delayed.
Teams could have a guy sitting in the stands and sending signals to the dugout in real time.
