That turned out nice. I need to make a pioneer type dress for a historical society event this July. Given my tight budget I went to the thrift store and found a cotton dress top for 2.50 and a queen size nice print bedsheet 4.00 and some scalloped white trim .50. That will be a fun project. Also found some nice lighter blue lightweight denim yardage for 5.00 enough to sew a jumper, I’ve been wanting one.

Oh, that toddler dress is precious!
I am quite old, but still have a little dress my grandmother made for me. A teddy bearess is wearing it now, and sits where I pass by every day. Thanks, Gran!
